| "Life is TOO important to be taken seriously!" |
International Wildlife artist, D. Arthur Wilson, embraces the
souls of the wild beasts he paints by default. After 4000 portraits, his yearning for the honesty, simplicity and true
passion evolved into his portrayal of the wild kingdom. Following in the footsteps of Frace', Bateman and Seerey-Lester,
Wilson's definitive style is unlike any other. Known for his uncanny ability to bring life into the eyes of his subjects,
the true spirit is set free. From Laurie Marker's Cheetah Conservation Fund in Namibia, South Africa to Tippi Hedron's
Animal Preserve, Shambala; countless zoos and preservation societies, Wilson proves to know and understand that which is yet,
an enigmatic and unprecedented frontier.
...the work of Abstract
Expressionist, Lisa, has been referred to as "...the romantic embodiment of the organic, expansive, ever changing world around
us ..." Inspired on a daily basis by her own journey, the people and experiences that make up life, her application
of mixed media is incomperable in the art world today. Each piece, unique unto itself, is a gift to the
observer, to discover their own personal painting within hers. By the influence of the masteries of Klimt, Pollack
and Degas, to name a few, Lisa is reminded that she, like those before her, has the rare opportunity to show up at each canvas,
and go in search of the next great expression...
